Petals & Tea: A Mother’s Day Gathering We would love to invite our families to join us for a special afternoon as we celebrate the wonderful women in our community. On Thursday, May 7, we will be hosting Petals & Tea, a sweet and simple gathering filled with connection, laughter, and meaningful moments. We’ll also be offering a small “Bloom Bar,” where you can create a bouquet together, something beautiful to take home or share. This day is all about slowing down, spending time together, and honoring the love that continues to grow through each of our residents. We hope you’ll join us for this special time. What a fun and meaningful morning here at Bickford! We had the pleasure of welcoming a group of local Central Catholic high school students for their community service day, and they truly made an impact. From giving wheelchairs and walkers a good wash and shine, to wiping down chairs and lending a helping hand wherever needed, they jumped right in with such kind and willing hearts. But the best part? The smiles and laughter they shared with our residents. Playing games, chatting, and simply spending time together made this morning extra special for everyone. We hit the green today for Golfer’s Day Our residents enjoyed a fun outing to a local indoor golf spot, and let me tell you… we had an absolute blast! There’s always something special happening in our home Today brought smiles, fresh air, and a little creativity! Some of our residents enjoyed a sweet outing to the library where they picked out books and flower seeds, followed by a stop at a local store to choose the perfect pots. Back at home, we spent time painting our pots, each one as unique and beautiful as the hands that created them.
