There seems to be some competition in the 200 hallway at Bickford of Crown Point! All these festive doors belong to one hall and they are all equally uplifting. With Memorial Day and the first day of summer advancing quickly, these trimmings inspire excitement for the summer season, as well as pride and gratitude for those who served our great country. The efforts made are very much appreciated!

Bickford of Crown Point has been blessed with another wonderful resident! Meet June! June had an amazing career working for a company who produced parts for NASA . She led an academic life, taking classes at the local community college well into her 80s! June loves to read, play cribbage and dominoes. What a perfect way to spice up an otherwise ordinary afternoon! The musical duo of Dona and Tony enchanted our residents at Bickford of Crown Point with their musical flair, and had everyone singing along to old favorites. From the looks on their faces, it’s clear their golden oldies brought back forgotten memories. We will be anxiously awaiting their return in September to reminisce once again!

Our residents always look forward to the “Shop ‘Til You Drop” event at Bickford of Crown Point where they can “cash in” their bingo winnings. Since it was a bit overdue, their envelopes were bursting with Bickford bingo bucks just waiting to be spent. We had a few families who were quite generous in donating items they thought the residents would find useful. There were many options, both frivolous and functional, but everyone walked away with something they treasured, and will be back at bingo ready to earn more bucks to spend!
