Montessori in Action! After meals, one of our residents in Assisted Living loves volunteering to help staff clean the tables. ❤️ What may seem like a simple task is actually a meaningful opportunity for purpose, independence, and connection. Montessori-inspired care focuses on giving residents opportunities to participate in everyday activities that are meaningful to them. By helping with a familiar task, our resident is able to contribute to the community, stay engaged, and feel a sense of accomplishment. Dennis loves to not only help the staff but also the residents. He is always asking if they need help with anything or if there is anything he can assist with. Dennis has been a great addition to our community, and we are so lucky to have him. #montessori #higherpath

Meals needs to be tastier. Care giver Staff is still sometimes shorthanded therefore slow to respond. (names removed) are great!! Many care givers are very kind. Evening staff could be kinder and more gentle.

A wheelchair seat pad has gone missing. I've inquired about 6 times, never getting an answer.

New director is doing great. Some of the staff is great. A couple care givers need to stop sitting around on their cell phones. New director is working on that. Hooray!!! | Also meals need improvement.

Excellent communication from staff regarding my mother's progression in cognitive decline and discussions for options to assist her. (name removed) is especially spectacular! I appreciate staff kindness and compassion. So grateful to have my mom, (name removed), at Bickford! We feel we picked the best spot for her and our family! Thank you so much for all you do! You are amazing!
