Today we celebrated Milans 88th Birthday! Here's to many more healthy years

A day in the life of Bickford of Tinley Park is all about finding comfort and joy in every day living. Our residents find a true sense of home, where they can forge new friendships, enjoy entertainment, stay active in our lively activities, or simply relax with a good book. We are also greatful for working alongside Fox Therapy who support our residents well being. Living here is a life filled with purpose and peace, right here at home.

MaryLou who lives in Mary B's found profound purpose in a familiar task. She spent the afternoon lovingly changing the clothes on a baby doll, her hands moving with the practiced ease of motherhood. The love and care she gave throughout her life as a mother are very much a part of who she is today. It's a powerful reminder that while the brain may forget, the heart never truly does.

Today we all had fun celebrating Ralph's 88th Birthday!!

Our Centenarians Shine here at Bickford of Tinley Park! The afternoon was filled with joyful music, laughter, and a sense of shared history as residents and BFM's honored the wisdom and resilience of our community's oldest residents. The spotlight of the day was on our five incredible residents, whose combined years of wisdom are represented by Christina Burns, 106 & Fabulous; Robert Mungerson, 105 Years Strong; Louise Siendenfuss, 103 Years Young; Lottie White, 101 & Still Shining; and Kathleen Nastari, 100 Years of Grace! Our event was a testament to the strong sense of community and a deep appreciation for the lives and stories of these extraordinary individuals. The sentiment of the day was clear: "We love and adore you all." "What incredible journeys you all have lived. Here's to a life well-lived and many more years to come. Congratulations!"

This weekend we are celebrating Robert's 105th Birthday!! What a remarkable milestone and a true celebration of life so beautifully lived. Robert, Our family here at Bickford of Tinley Park would like to wish you laughter, continued good health, love from family and friends and most of all many more treasured moments.

There's nothing quite like the smell of something warm and sweet baking in the oven. It's a scent that reminds us of family, comfort and home. Rita, Alice and Beverly have been busy making homemade goodness using grandma's beloved recipes. Their zucchini bread was a hit with everyone. Next week we will be heading to Mary B's kitchen to bake cookies along with our residents.
