Opening Day was a home run at Bickford of Lancaster Assisted Living and Memory Care! We kicked off baseball season with a full day of fun, starting with our very own spring training this morning. Residents warmed up their pitching arms and got into the spirit of the game right away. In the afternoon, we settled in to watch a live baseball game, complete with the classic ballpark snacks — peanuts and Cracker Jack included. The room was full of cheers, chatter, and plenty of nostalgia. To keep the excitement going, we played baseball cornhole and crafted our own pennant flags to show off everyone’s favorite teams.
