Having fun where you work is just another perk of the job! One of the volunteer jobs I do is leading my daughter's kindergarten Girl Scout Daisy troop. Our troop stopped by Bickford of Burlington to share out talents of wreath making, and enjoyed a tour. We learned a lot from these ladies, and can't wait to join them again soon. Many Bickford's take advantage of different service organizations, We enjoy when troops help out with activities such as this, or service projects like cleaning up flower beds or setting up Christmas trees. If you have an organization that would love to join the fun and enjoy some inter generational interactions with our residents, please call your local Bickford!

Join us for some fun in May!
Recycling is the new trash!
With the global push to "go green" many of our branches are getting on the electric band wagon by starting their own recycling programs. With the amount of large aluminum cans along with plastic in the form of milk jugs and cottage cheese/salad dressing/sour cream containers, we can reduce out carbon footprint by not only recycling, but reducing waste as well. Bickford promotes reusable water bottles with our caregivers, and encourages washable linens verses paper napkins and place mats.
You can help us be kind to planet earth as well by recycling your paper and newsprint in the offices, and recycling drinking cans and water bottles when visiting.
