(Name Removed) has received excellent care after some skin cancer surgery. It has taken quite a while to heal. But I still have issues with the cleaning of his apartment. The toilet and bathroom haven't been cleaned in a couple of weeks- things are dusty and it hasn't been vacuumed. I know there are probably fewer staff over the holidays, but I thought it should be mentioned.

My only issue is we have had another thing disappear for our room. This makes the 3rd thing. None of any value, but it is a little annoying.

My father, has resided at Bickford for five months now. It seems he has one need after another and I am pleased with the helpfulness and cooperation of the staff and caregivers. Two caregivers come to mind as especially helpful and I greatly appreciate these two: (Name Removed) and (Name Removed). Not sure of these two women's last names. (Name Removed)

Administration hides in the office. They don't engage with residents. They are all talk with little action to back up their words.

I think (Name Removed) and (Name Removed) are doing a great job. (Name Removed) is a go getter and gets the job done. I have met a lot of new staff and they all seem efficient and nice. Keep up the good work. When you hire good people, residents get better care and families are happy. They share their experience and that is good for your business.

Everyone there goes above and beyond what is expected and it is truly appreciated!

I noticed the housekeeping is not kept up. The smell in the hallway is of urine many times. The requested services are not being completed daily. For example, sometimes mom is in the same outfit for multiple days. I was hoping the entire staff would be involved more in the lives of the residents. Please know I appreciate she is in a safe place, but if you want your facility to be exceptional then changes need to take place.

there is a man who wanders around at night and goes into peoples rooms. my mom has to continue to fight from being over charged on either room and board or medicine or the 300 dollar fee for 10 months....

I appreciated everyone's concern and assistance with my mom's and our family needs this past month with my sister's passing.

While visiting my mother, I found that care was not being provided IAW her care plan.

I'm still hearing that some meals aren't as good as they used to be. I know the new kitchen manager has recently had training so I expect (Name Removed) will notice a change. My only other concern is the appearance of the carpets in the hallways. If I were visiting I think I would be concerned about general cleanliness when I see dirty carpets. (Name Removed) care continues to be good. The front porch looks great!

My father has been at Bickford a little over a month. We have been communicating and working closely with the director and the staff and feel that adjustments and concerns are being addressed. Thank you

My mom had a uti that took over a month to diagnose and begin treatment.

Mom's care plan is not being followed regularly. Staff doesn't seem to be as attentive on 2nd shift. She is brought to her room and left to handle her own care. Care plan includes assistance for items such as oxygen on, legs elevated, to be assist with restroom visit every couple of hours, etc. I am not seeing this done during my visits after 5pm. Room is usually in disarray.

They are all doing a great job.
