The staff in memory care are wonderful!

My Mom has had a difficult month and I realized that Bickford is definitely there for her in times of need. (Name Removed) is so caring as well as (Name Removed) and (Name Removed). (Name Removed) the maintenance man is so helpful and it's so nice that a really good housekeeper in (Name Removed) has been hired.

Continue to provide excellent, personalized assistant living services. ADL supports in all aspects are exceptional

My aunt (Name Removed) has been there for two years now, and so far is as happy as someone can be that can no longer live alone. The staff is always very helpful and (Name Removed) has helped me when I had questions recently in a timely manner. I love getting the updates every week and the calendar. I do look forward to being a little more involved in the coming year. I love visiting and have given referrals to a few of my clients and one of them has just moved in there.

Rooms are not being cleaned properly ( mopping bathroom floor) and garbage has not been emptied for several days. Room smelled awful. I can't believe rates are being increased while services are decreased.

The activities & facility itself & the food has been great The nursing assistance has been majorly lacking.

I have asked to be given updates on how my mom has been doing blood pressure readings etc. I never hear anything from Bickford about how she's doing. Whether she's sad, angry, depressed, confused, argumentative, feeling sick etc. I should be getting this type of information. I also should be getting information about immunizations! My mom told me she got a vaccine and doesn't know what it was! I'm her representative, POA I should have known what she was given! As of today I have no idea what vaccine my mom was injected with and that in my opinion was not ok! I should have been notified before my mom received any vaccines. I also want to mention the menu. My mom is a very picky eater. She doesn't have a good appetite and it doesn't help when a Bickford employee comes into her room and says "oh, you're not gonna like it". I've heard this several times out of Bickford employees mouths! This is NOT ok! I also have a problem with my mom's trash not being taken out like it should be. When I moved my mom into the Bickford I was told toilet paper would be furnished. Is this true or not? I've been buying toilet for her ever since she moved in!
