Bella is a therapy dog that brings her human, Elizabeth, to come hang out with our residents. But for some reason, the residents end up paying more attention to Bella. But it's okay - Bella is professionally trained for this and Elizabeth totally understands.
Last week we were visited by one of our owners and one of Mary Bickford's grandsons, Andy Eby, who spent the entire morning with us but made sure to take special time to visit with a number of our residents - especially those in our Mary B's wing. Andy's grandmother, Mary, is the reason why we exist and it's so cool to see the Bickford family philosophy of "enriching happiness" still proudly being represented by Andy and his two brothers who now run the entire Bickford organization. This right here is why I love being a Bickford Family Member. Family (both yours and ours) over everything.

We are excited about our Fashion Show! We want everyone to come and join us!
Chris Michael. What a show! We gasped, we laughed, we were amazed. A very special thank you for this event goes out to our friends at Fox Rehab who provided us with our raffle prize (winner TBA), Bryan Costreie from Hospice Community Care for bringing in all of the food for the event, and, of course, Chris Michael for a truly unbelievable performance.
Had to post all these pictures of the petting zoo we brought to our community today! Ducks, goats, rabbits, chickens, and donkeys all congregated at the front of our building where our residents were waiting for them. And we couldn't help but bring a few of them inside too (especially to surprise our nurse, Iesha!).
