As we wait in anticipation to get to know our residents, we'd like to give you an opportunity to meet our wonderful BFM's (Bickford Family Members) that will be taking care of our residents & becoming a part of your family. Hi everyone, my name is Ty Garrett and I am a Med Tech for Bickford of Canton. I am a positive and goofy person & I love to make others laugh and feel loved. I have been a caregiver for 7 years & really enjoying getting to know the residents and learning more about their background. I love spending time with my family and friends. I have been a volunteer cheerleading coach for the Detroit Spartans of Detroit P.A.L. since 2007. One of my passions is that I love to give back to others whenever and wherever i can.

Hello everyone, My name is Gabe Rusu and I am the Culinary Chef for Bickford. I graduated from Saline High School, I attended U-M in Ann Arbor, I started in food service when I was working in college. I managed a couple different restaurants before starting catering. I owned my own catering company for 30 years. I am a hockey mom because my 14 year old son loves everything hockey. I’m a big animal lover and advocate for animal rights. Besides cooking, I love to garden. I hope to share my cooking with the residents and staff of Bickford Canton and I hope that I can make mealtimes enjoyable for all.

As we wait in anticipation to get to know our residents, we'd like to give you an opportunity to get to meet our wonderful BFM's (Bickford Family Members) that will be taking care of our residents & becoming a part of your family. Let us introduce you to Earline Burgess- Earline lives in Detroit, has 2 children and 6 grandchildren. For fun, Earline likes to play cards, go bowling and spend time with her family. Earline decided to become a caregiver after she was laid off from a job a few years ago. Once she officially became a CNA she started caregiving for her ill father until he passed. Earline is now taking care of her elderly aunt and she feels that being a caregiver is a role that she was meant to be. She says that she is the go-to person for most of her friends and family and helps give them the guidance and love that they need. Earline is looking forward to meeting our families and residents and can’t wait to become a part of your family! We love Earline’s beautiful smile and caring personality!

The process of finding a place for your loved one is hard enough, we’re here to make it easier. To help you navigate this change most effectively we remove the barriers and give you what you really want - pricing first!

Base Rate    +    Care Rate    =    Real Rates

Base Rate

$125 to $165 per day. Range depends on the apartment you choose.

Care Rate

$30 to $150 per day. Range depends on the care and services needed.

Community Fee of $0 per month for ten months.

It’s that easy.

Whether or not our pricing fits in your budget, we ask you to consider 4 things:

  1. Know that there may be financial resources available that you might not be aware of.

To explore this, take advantage of our complimentary third-party financial concierge service – Elderlife Financial
  2. Know that our rates are all-inclusive*.

Don’t forget our rates include meals, care, activities, basic utilities, housekeeping, linen and laundry service, and more! All-inclusive details.
  3. Know the affordability of senior living.

Many families are surprised at the affordability of senior living as compared to what they are currently spending at home. Check out our Expense Worksheet to compare for yourself.
  4. Remember what matters most.

While there are many things you should buy at a discount, care isn’t one of them.
