Happy day after Thanksgiving from all of us here at Bickford! Yesterday our Life Enrichment Coordinator Melissa led a Thanksgiving service for our residents. We sang songs, read a devotional and went around and shared what we are thankful for.

Our hot chocolate social was a huge hit. We had yummy drinks with whipped cream, chocolate chips and marshmallows. Ruby was our special helper in getting everything set up.

Rating of 1 -our family has been very disappointed with the care being received. When my daughter visits her almost daily at lunch she has soiled herself and requires immediate attention however none is received because she unable to use her call light and staff is not available to clean her up and change her bedding.

I rated Bickford a 3 again this month even after meeting with (Name Removed) 3 or so weeks ago nothing has changed. Yes there's been a few good days ( depending on CNA) told it's unacceptable on those bad days but nothing happens unless we complain.After the family meeting it sounds like other families have the same concerns.

We had a meeting 3 weeks ago with (Name Removed) and brought several issues to her in regards to the care of mom and the upkeep of her room. As of today there are still more bad days than good care days. Should not have to worry about not being able to go check mom and her room each day in order to see she gets the care she needs. So until it improves the number will remain the same ! So sad Also many good people have left due to not enough staff, scheduling issues, and mandates. This needs to be addressed also
