I've expressed my dissatisfaction with the state I found my mother in, which was neglect. If you care about feedback, I expect to receive follow-up.

I just know what to think anymore. The last director only lasted a little more than a month. I get my hopes up and then it crashes. I feel good about the staff coming to help and I wish them well. But Bickford needs consistency in the administrative staff most of all!

I see reasons for hope with the new hires. Certainly steps are being made in the right direction, however we were notified today of a price increase, which could be justified IF our Dad had received the care he paid for in the past. As it is, this hits a very wrong note coming after some subpar care by CNAs, no cleaning professional or dietary staff.

I see some improvements but some things need a lot more. One thing of note is that it REEKS in Mary Bs. Smells as bad as any nursing home I have been in. This means things are not clean. I know there's always the occasion I have entered right after one of the folks has a mishap-but not every time. The room looked a bit cleaner and the bed was fully made, which was nice. Keep up the work towards improvement. :)

Some things are improving. But, after very good conversations with the director and divisional director, neither has followed up fully as both promised. Because of our long history with Bickford, this is not unexpected. Better communication with family members is still desperately needed.

Thankful for a new director and (Name Removed) and (Name Removed) (nurses) are wonderful. Would love Nursing coordinator so nurses do not get burnt out and so I can email them questions.

I am hopeful someday to increase my rating. I'm glad a new director is here and I am very hopeful changes in the level of care will increase. My Mother is in Memory care unit. On one weekend when I visited there was only one CNA covering the whole unit. There is only one nurse for the whole building. This is totally inadequate staffing in my opinion. Also the situation with no transportation available for those in wheelchairs is A real let down in providing service to those residing in Bickford. I think the CNAs in the memory care unit are doing the best they can with what resources they have. Bickford is lucky they have stayed. The patio in memory care is Still full of dead brush. And it is a shame to have a nice patio that is never utilized by the residents as there aren't enough aids to take them out to enjoy a little bit of sunshine and a breeze in the air.

I think it is sad that I cannot visit (Name Removed) and (Name Removed) in their home without wearing a mask

The wheel chair lift has not been working for a very long time. So my mother in law can't go to her doctor appointments. I have tried to get an update and no return phone call, or text.

How about some communication from the leadership. It is absolutely unacceptable that we know practically nothing unless we physically go into the building.
