Our Bickford of Bexley Assisted Living and Memory Care residents decided it was a good day to make peanut butter cookies! The ladies picked what type of cookie to make and sat down while chatting and kneading the dough into balls. It was a great success, and they enjoyed eating fresh baked cookies afterward.

We had a sharing day at Bickford of Bexley Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our residents took great pride in showing off their treasured items, and sharing stories that greatly impacted their lives. We saw pictures from long ago, beautifully designed artwork, and collections of handcrafted items that are invaluable. We heard war stories, and life stories that will never be forgotten. Anyone remember the tiny keychain license plates you received when getting new plates for your car?? So cool!

Regina is a big cat lover! During our sharing day, she brought out pictures of the cats they have had throughout the years. Noel, Regina’s cat, currently lives at the branch, and is content with her Bickford life! We are pet friendly at Bickford of Bexley Assisted Living and Memory Care! All pets allowed! We even have birds as branch buddies!

What a fresh reminder that spring is around the corner! We were able to get out and explore the Franklin Park Conservatory, and enjoy the beauty of nature after a long winter.

Peggy and Julia helped our Life Enrichment Coordinator arrange silk flowers for the table. They both enjoyed the light conversation and creativity they brought to each arrangement. The residents are really enjoying these spring table decorations. Thank you for your hard work, Ladies!
