“We took our bunzas to a Runza." Lunch Bunch enjoyed classic Runza. Fun Fact: Many sources agree that Sally Everett invented the name "runza" although it is likely she adapted it from an existing name for the sandwich; either the krautrunz, an older, different German name for the bierock, or the Low German runsa, meaning "belly", alluding to the gently rounded shape of the pouch pastry.

“You can’t buy love, but you can rescue it” We had a nice time at the Humane Society looking at all the cats and dogs that are waiting for their forever home. Quality pet time is not only beneficial for the animals but also for the humans. We sure love all animals and the unconditional love they give to us.

Oh my gosh this place is the Best place we could ever place my mother. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. My mother is doing things now that she never would have in her younger years. Your staff in Grand Island goes above and beyond and I hope when my mother leaves to get resting place I continue my friendship with the staff as they are wonderful!

We couldn't be happier with the care my dad is receiving at Bickford. It feels like you love my dad as much as I do and I've seen him smile more this week than I have in the last month in the hospital. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family.

The staff at Bickford is ALWAYS pleasant and accommodating. They do an excellent job taking care of my mom which can be very challenging at times. They look out for my mom's best interests and are very kind when she makes their work difficult. (name removed) go above and beyond to answer my questions about mom's care. I wouldn't want my mom at any other place. They truly give top notch service and have exceptional heart felt compassion for all the residences at Bickford Grand Island. A+++
